Eligibility

Students from B.E., B.Tech. (Computer Science and Information Technology), B.Sc., M.Sc., MCA, MS backgrounds who have completed the final year examinations will be eligible for the RTD Courses. The basic prerequisites for joining the RTD course are as follows.

  1. Consistent average of 60% and above in the 10th and 12th
  2. An average of 60% and above in College examinations till final semester.
  3. Ability to learn and cooperate and function as team.
  4. Good conduct.

Registration

If you have the basic qualifications as mentioned above, you will be eligible to be part of the RTD training. To register yourself in this training you might choose to register either online or download the application form or register at our office.

Selection Criteria

The selection procedure of getting admission in RTD Training would involve the following examinations and Interviews.

  1. Aptitude Test
  2. Technical Test
  3. HR Interviews for shortlisted consultants
  4. Final list based on order of Merit.

Information on RTD Training

The shortlisted consultants based on the order of merit will undergo the training at JITA campus in Chennai. The complete course curriculum will be handed over one week prior to your start date of the training.

Course Duration: 12 weeks

Course curriculum is planned for all the days starting from Monday till Saturday. On each day the scheduled course would be planned for 06 hours. Labs will be opened for practical classes without any time limits. However it would go in the order of booking of the practical classes.


Course Timings:

Batch 1: From 8 am till 2.15 pm
Batch 2: From 12.45 pm till 6.30 pm

Practical Session is 3 hours per day.

Outdoor Activities will be on all Saturdays.

Preparation for the RTD course:

There are certain basic technical and general requirements which you are expected to meet before the start of the course. The details of the same is given here click download to know more.

Assessment in RTD Course:

The assessment of the RTD training will be done by a panel of experts formed by all the corporate. This team of experts will interact with the RTD consultants and participate in the key activities and do the assessment.

During the 3 month RTD training there will be three exams:One each on completion of every 4 weeks. This would be technical test.

Separate assessment would also be made on each activity being conducted in RTD.

During the final two weeks relevant certifications (Sun / Microsoft etc) would be mandatory.

Brain Bench Exams to be cleared as part of the curriculum.

The overall marks on which the assessment will be made out of 750.

The assessment will be considered as per the following basis.

  • Technical Training
: 300 marks
  • Soft Skill Training
: 60 marks
  • Software Engineering and Project Management
: 50 marks
  • On Job Training
: 60 marks
  • Certification
: 50 marks
  • Effective Competence
:130 marks
  • Value Pack
:100 marks

The final Graduation ceremony will be a grand event with cultural activities organized by the RTD consultants.

The overall marks on which the assessment would be made will be for 750 Marks. The assessment would be graded on the following basis.

  • 650 – 750
: O(Outstanding)
  • 550 – 650
: A+(Very Good)
  • 450 – 550
: A(Good)
  • 400 – 450
: B+(Above Average)


Consultants failing to meet the required bench mark would be given one to two weeks of specialized training to clear the bench mark. Even then, if the consultant fails to meet the bench mark the consultant will be failed and he or she will not be permitted to appear for the RTD again.
